Is it just me or do command hooks make everyone giggle? I mean, how many things do people actually need to hang up on (and then remove from) their walls? Do any of you use them? What for?
Command hooks, $3.99-$9.99

I have a couple behind my door for towels. They make me laugh though and the commercials are absolutely absurd!
Oh yeah – the commercials are hilarious. As if you could really hang your dog up on a command hook? too funny.
I have never seen a commercial for them!
My husband would approve of these because he hates when I knock holes in the wall (we have plaster walls)
I’ve seen two commercials…in one the command hooks hold up a dog. In another the hooks hold up a kid. (The fine print at the bottom of the screen says that the hooks don’t actually hold up these things). I think in one of the commercials there’s a row of them and they’ve hung jewelry or kitchen gadgets from them (don’t quote me on this forsure though). I imagine some people might use them to hold up temporary decor (Christmas wreaths, birthday banners). I could see how they might be useful for hanging things (frames, artwork?) on plaster walls. Thanks for your comment Shannon!
Update: 3M (@3MCanadaCares) tweeted me this link: http://bit.ly/mVNUQL – examples of how these hooks can be used. I’m still interested in how real people use them so please share!
I use them to hang my stockings for Santa over the fireplace in December. It works, as long as i dont get a big load!
Well – the Jumbo hook apparently holds up to 7.5 pounds! That would be a lot of loot!
