What’s a celebration without some sweets? I made these sweet heart sugar cookies for friends and colleagues this week.

Martha Stewart’s sugar cookie and royal icing recipes are my recipes of choice, and I use this package of Wilton food colouring. I generally use a piping bag or piping pen, but this time I opted for the ol’ ziploc bag approach.
