I’ve got loads to share from my weekend and a neat blog link up in the works for this week, but I thought I’d start the week off with some art because I think it would do us all some good to get some exposure to different kinds of art in 2017.
So, today, let me introduce you to Lauren Clay‘s large-scale sculptures. I see them as large, tamed marshmellow shapes.

We are going back to Europe, but today, we’re going to Poland! I haven’t taken you to Poland in this series, but I’ve been coming across a lot of beautifully designed hotels there, so it’s about time we see something up-close.

I’ve been in my home for 3.5 years now, and I’ve been talking about tackling two bathroom renovations ever since. When I first moved in, I gutted and redid my main floor powder room. I still have two bathrooms to go, but they’re major undertakings, and I haven’t had time/energy/interest/money/etc. to move forward with either of them.
In the meantime, I’ve been browsing, pinning, and thinking about the possibilities. Fancy, artistic, graphic tiles have been a design highlight for the last couple of years, and I think the look will remain for some time. What do you think? Is it for you?

I’m not certain that patterned tiles are for me, but putting them in a black and white bathroom is definitely a way to jazz things up!
