I must have travel on the brain (again) because I keep being drawn to very cool hotels. Today we travel to Berlin and check into the stylish Michelberger Hotel.

I’ve travelled a fair bit around Europe (most often Switzerland and Paris: read this, this, this, this, this, this, and this) but I have yet to visit Berlin. What do you think? Should I add it to my travel wish list?

But then again, it’s not like I really need an ad campaign to convince me to travel. My passport is always ready! (And fyi – I most often than not use Expedia for flight, car and hotel bookings because it’s cheap, convenient, and provides good customer service.)
The World Figure Skating Championships are coming to London, Ontario next month. This is going to be a great event in the city and it’s sure to bring people downtown (which always makes me happy).

Okay, okay – the Jennifers* looked great at the Oscars. Fine. But why isn’t anyone talking about Charlize and Queen Latifah? I thought they looked absolutely stunning (and not just because they were wearing white). Their gowns suited their figures most beautifully and their hair and makeup teams did phenomenal work. They are two of my top winners of the night.
