Lacoste love

by Johanne

But of course we adore Lacoste– the brand is always so fresh and so clean.

This April we’re excited to see new pieces designed in collaboration with French fashion designer Catherine Malandrino.

Malandrino brings a sexy chicness to the heritage and timelessly cool vibe that is all things Lacoste. Described as a fusion of “masculine sportif with a feminine perspective,” we think this capsule collection will spring off the shelves in no time.

Today, a sneak peek:

The collection will be available at Holt Renfrew across Canada and at Lacoste stores.

Urban Barn Strikes it Right + Giveaway

Urban Barn, a Canadian retailer which has its roots in British Columbia, carries an amazing selection of unique and interesting furniture and accessories for diverse spaces. With over 40 stores across Canada, it is a favourite spot for the style conscious shopper. Urban Barn offers remarkable customer service and delivers “the ideal mix of value, quality and great design”.  It’s no wonder why we have featured them so often on White Cabana.

Most recently, the Strike coffee table caught my attention. It’s round and shiny and glorious. What’s not to love?

20 Below: Arrested Development

I must be one of the last people to get into the Arrested Development tv series. Netflix has recently brought it into my life and I have been laughing so hard while watching it. I’m now onto season 2 and still enjoying each episode.

If you don’t have Netflix, you can pick up Season 1 for less than $20. Great, right?

The Friday Five: Preparing for NYC

I’m in New York City this weekend after a very crazy and emotional week. I’m happy to be spending time with my sister, brother-in-law and my sweet little nephews. I’m also going to be reunited with one of my running buddies and we’ll be running the NYC half on Sunday. My winter-training plan has been less than perfect so I imagine I’ll be taking a lot of walking breaks.

Here are five things that I brought along this weekend.

1. Sub-zero running tights from Running Skirts.

2. Antiperspirant – thanks Degree! It will definitely be put to the test at the half-marathon.

3. LeSportsac weekender bag – great for packing extra things (i.e., new purchases!).

4. My new polka dot scarf. I always bring a scarf like this on trips – especially for the flight.

5. My Canon PowerShot SD1000. It’s small but mighty. I don’t ever leave the house without it!
