I recently came across the sweet sparkly garlands at Etsy’s La Petite Fest. It’s nearly impossible to resist glitter, isn’t it?

I know a lot of us are focused on our trees right now…but how ’bout them wreaths? Do you hang up a wreath (or several) for the holidays? I have one with white wool pompoms (easy DIY) on my front door…it stays up all winter long.

Animal busts, Restoration Hardware Baby + Child
This week I’m coveting these lovely papier mâché animal busts available at Restoration Hardware Baby + Child. It seems I’m surrounded by happy news of spring babies coming this 2013 and I have baby’s room on the mind. I love how these modern papier mâché busts work as well in a cozy living room, front hall or baby’s room.
I spotted these last week when they were featured on flawlessly fabulous Gwyneth Paltrow’s pet project, Goop, and she informed me that they’re entirely eco-friendly. The animals are made by hand by Haitian artisans using recycled paper, recycled steel wire and arrowroot starch glue.
The best part: the outer layer is from French newspapers.
C’est merveilleux!
And look how lovely in a baby’s room!
Last week we went to visit Santa with the boys at the beautiful ABC Carpet and Home. For those of you who don’t know – it is one of NYC’s most stunning shops! The visit kick started the Christmas season for us and I long for all-white Christmas decor thanks to these inspiring vignettes!
