White covers

I’m back!

Okay, so I know you haven’t really missed me since Jordana’s been doing a fine job keeping up with the White Wednesday content for me while I took a momentary leave. Well, I just adore this blog and I really couldn’t stay away any longer- so here I am and so happy to be in white again.

This week I’d like to share with you these fantastic silhouettes blown up as novel posters from over at NovelPoster:

Can you identify the classic novels based on their illustrated outlines? (answers below)

The elegant posters are a nice an’ easy $30 a pop and would spice up any space, but  probably best in that cozy spot for curling up with a good ol’ classic.

inVU Drapery Co.

A few weeks ago I got the chance to finally – yes, finally – visit inVU Drapery Co. in person. This company has been good to us here at White Cabana (remember this giveaway) so I feel a bit ashamed that I hadn’t visited one of their stores. Well, I’m happy to report that it didn’t disappoint.

In addition to the colourful Cobi Ladner line, and a great selection of fabrics in various textures and colours, inVU Drapery Co. carries wonderful white fabrics and curious, quirky and classic accessories for the home. Here are some photos from my visit.

DIY: Paper Flower Wreath

Earlier this week Johanne featured this beautiful paper flower wreath by Alisa Burke. I wanted to make it on the weekend but I was too eager and made it the night after Johanne’s post. Here’s the finished product:

It wasn’t hard to make at all but it was time consuming. Wrapping the Styrofoam form was the most annoying part for me but crumpling the paper (to add texture) was kind of stress relieving. Next time I would make flowers of different sizes, just as Alisa suggested in her tutorial. I completely overlooked this detail. Oh, and I used white printer paper instead of butcher paper.

I’m putting it on my door this weekend to welcome spring and all my springtime guests!
