Personal: Crochet Progress

Just over a year ago, I started to crochet. I made quick work of pot holders, and then I was motivated to crochet a whole blanket. I predicted it would take me about 10 years. I got back into it in the last few weeks after a very long break. Here’s how it looks now.

I have 9 years to go.

It’s been at least a year since I painted anything and this fact makes me a bit depressed as I used to paint quite often. But time has moved at lightning speed this past academic year and it’s only now that I’m finding more chunks of time to paint. Here’s a piece that I worked on last week.
