Thought I’d put together a gift guide for the stylish workaholics. We – I mean they – might like to be treated to something functional and beautiful this holiday!

I saw this pencil case yesterday on Design is Mine and had to instantly save the image as my desktop background. It’s crunch time (well – it always seems to be crunch time) and I’ve got lots of writing to do (for my PhD life and my blogging life). I’m hoping this will motivate me to write every day.
Other reasons to love this pencil case:
1. It’s a simple design.
2. It’s handmade by Samantha Wagner.
3. It’s made in Canada (Vancouver, BC).
And when I do eventually finish my PhD…I’m going to buy myself these.

Well, actually, it’s the writing instruments that are white, although we highly recommend opting for some white ink for your next “Dear Secret Admirer” correspondence.
As writers and fond friends of paper and pens, we’re excited to feature the ACME collection of writing instruments available at Stylus. These modern and beautiful pens are the product of industry designers’ take on this most under-rated everyday tool.
Our fave: the “Punctuation” rollerball pen by Harry Allen (pictured below). Don’t you just adore all those exclamation points and accents “aigus“?

With these mugs to tell you what to do, you can just sit down and follow instructions.
Is your mug is your manager/inspiration?
